Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused electricity outages in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were injured while inhabitants in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and faced interruptions to water systems, per reports from city officials.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, based on information from local officials.

Russian forces has intensified assaults on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, European nations and the major economies - in providing air defence systems and applying restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles struck the country's power systems, labeling such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to restore power.

A wave of strikes damaged energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Several of the people wounded in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Local officials said the city experienced significant strikes throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child lost their life and multiple civilians were injured.

The attacks succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the region, portions of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are tougher to spot.

National leaders told journalists that Russia was deliberately attempting to demolish the national power system, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were preparing for more assaults.
